The “knife Colonel Carter” (“Couteau Colonel Carter”) or “3C” type “Special Forces,” imagined and created by Colonel (cr) Raymond HA Carter of the French National Gendarmerie and Renaud Rigomer, inventor, was born from his experience of more than 45 years of martial arts and combat sports with or without weapons. He worked, among others, with his friend Fred Perrin, cutler and expert in Knife Fighting Techniques, who created “The Claw”. Raymond H. A. Carter is also the author of the book “Fighting techniques knife – Knife technical fighting” Chiron Editions, Paris, 1996.

In his version, the “3C Special Forces”, which soon will propose two other versions, can be used as well closed as open. It is equipped with a blade and a ‘counter-knife’ (upper side of the blade) use through the hollow axis of the “3C”, unique in the world, allowing both normal and reversed use, and to deal with any form of attack in short and medium distances. Its original design and possible practice makes it a knife both unique and very effective, especially likely to be a ‘spare’ weapon for special units, intervention units and Special Forces members.

Specific and Special training for technical and operational use of the “3C Special Forces” can be implemented on demand, as required and conducted by its creator, Raymond H. A. Carter, President and CEO of Cormorant-Group SAS.
